Joseph Parker stepped onto the scales almost 20lb heavier than Fabio Wardley as both big men cut confident figures - albeit in different manners - ahead of the Saturday feature bout in the capital.

Despite being the less heavy fighter, Wardley has exceptional KO strength. He produced a dramatic turnaround facing his opponent in last June, down on the judges' cards before finishing his opponent in the final round despite being outboxed for much of the contest.

"Joseph Parker, his corner and supporters will learn I am meant to be at the top of this division," Wardley said.

"Each rival has been the boxer critics claim will beat me. This is the one. His attributes include superior speed, rapid, too experienced. However My record is perfect so far, and nothing will change tomorrow night."
